8x8 Veterans Recognition Memorial Brick
The proceeds of commemorative brick sales are for the continued improvement of Whispering Pines of Clinton County. For example, one of the focused areas is to rebuild the 78 year old Dining Hall with possible naming as “Veteran Lodge…Proudly Serving Those Who Have Served”. Also to improve the current facilities for our youth and special needs.
Veteran Recognition Area: Recognition to those who served in the United States military and have been discharged honorably or who are currently serving during the times of peace, living or deceased, from near and far.
PROOF OF SERVICE IS REQUIRED. A photo copy of one of the following will serve as proof: DD-214 (separation papers), newspaper article providing evidence of military service, county military record, military pension document, a photo in service uniform, or other clear evidence of military service. Proof can be subsequently provided by mail or in-person.
For the foreseeable future, bricks will be installed shortly before Memorial Day and shortly before Veterans Day each year or as determined by the committee. Deadlines for submitting brick orders are May 6 and September 15, 2023.
