Whispering Pines of Clinton County operates on a 100% voluntary basis. The funding of
Whispering Pines for maintaining and improving the property is through donations from many
supportive individuals and companies along with potential grants in the future. A nominal $10
donation recommendation per day is in place for each the camping sites, cabins, pavilions and activity areas. Should an organization wish to reserve for use. A council ring/amphitheater is available.
Priority areas
The Board of Whispering Pines of Clinton County wishes to ensure that when the rest of the world is busy and chaotic, individuals of organizations and groups can come out to our property to rejuvenate and refresh their soul. Whispering Pines of Clinton County has chosen to give priority to assist with the health, character and welfare of those in need and our youth to prevent any barrier to use the property should they not be able to afford the registration fee.
Management
The Board of Whispering Pines of Clinton County is affording any organization who wishes to utilize the property the opportunity to request a waiver of the per day fee by submitting the necessary information
as covered in the Registration Donation Waiver Request Process.
Charitable Budget
The Whispering Pines of Clinton County Board has designated in the budget an accrued amount of
$200 to be present at all times to use for any individual within an organization or organization who has been determined cannot pay the above referenced registration guideline. During each quarter of a calendar year or sooner as necessary, the Whispering Pines of Clinton County Board will review the funding of the charitable account to ensure the proper funding is present.
Donation Guideline Waiver Request Process
A written request can be provided to the Whispering Pines of Clinton County Board to cover the
reason and include supporting information for waiving the respective registration donation should any individual within an organization or organization who cannot afford to pay the above referenced registration donation.
